Beyond just guild wars i play a lot of eve online and try to remain active on forums for eve as well. One of the neat threads that goes around some of the forums is a credibility thread. On such a thread each player is allowed to post the three people they trust the most and may edit at any time using the edit button once a month a count is made and the top 20 or so voted players the starter edit his post so you can easily see who the top 20 are. I've been rather fond of these posts and I'd like to start one here. If the community here can please abide by the rules I'm sure we can make a wonderful thread that will not just be casual opinions being passed around but provide useful information about the guild wars community and help younger players learn who to watch for in observer mode.

THE RULES-
1) Limit your post to one player per category
2) Do not criticize other players picks
3) No more than one sentence as to why you picked a player
4) You may not vote for yourself
5) Be courteous and respectful if you change your opinion
6) Do not post more than once use the edit feature to change your votes

Hopes/suggestions-
Update 7/18/07 - *If you intend to list someone in more than 4 positions please list them only in best all around player and list your second picks in the class specific areas

*Please base your decisions on the players knowledge of skills and ability to play that class well.

*I'm not gonna try to have people limit themselves to people who are HA only players it would just be to hard to attempt to moderate such a thing, so feel free to post whoever you like.

*Votes will be counted either once a month or once a week depending on how much time i have xD.

*Hopefully with some help from the moderators we can keep this post friendly and troll free.

*My main vision is that this will become a friendly competition among players to attempt to reach the top in a category and hopefully it will improve the maturity level as they make an effort to grab what i consider the most coveted, the sportsman title.

Assassin -
Warrior -
Elementalist -
Dervish -
Paragon -
Mesmer -
Necromancer -
Monk -
Ritualist -
Ranger -
Best All Around Player- (player who seems to be able to do anything very well)
Most Sportsman like - (nicest player)
NUB superstar - (player of low rank who seems to play well above his rank)

Assassin - Rezz anna nicole (I've seen this guy pull off some nutty chains)

Warrior - Jenna Swift Axe (Been very impressed with ability to gauge other players and compensate for a teammates weakness)

Elementalist - N/A

Dervish - N/A

Paragon - Xeng goes paragon (does a very good job of maintaining energy and multi-tasking the offensive/defensive nature of a paragon)

Mesmer - Brent goes mez (legendary)

Necromancer - N/A

Monk - Those about to rock (Gained my vote when i watched him playing infuser and he timed the infuse so well against a spike that no one's health bar ever actually changed)

Ritualist - N/A

Ranger - N/A

Best All Around Player - Starcraft Medic (see him playing multiple classes and always at a level where i feel i should be taking notes)

Most Sportsman like - Lord is great (this guy goes out of his way to help people and is just a very likable guy)

NUB superstar - Rock Hounds Guard (Ever time i play with him he's improved in a noticeable way and i'm sure thats its just a matter of time before people start noticing him)

Best Guild - Quality Control (every time i turn around they are winning halls)

But Dryder is nothing without his FoW. I will agree about Leeloof and will add Lucis as one of the better warriors I've played against even though I rarely seen him anymore in HA if at all.

Assassin - there are no good asassins

Warrior - KURT THE BEHEMOTH

Elementalist - mystic or jimmy, can't really decide, both have strong searing flame powers. Also Zhed Shadowhoof.

Dervish - who plays dervishes anyway, some noobs lol, thumper is the melee choice in HA.

Paragon - Phe Belladona

Mesmer - Norgu

Necromancer - RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing OLIAS

Monk - Nadia Roark - best prot monk in the game.

Ritualist - too many to name single one. This is the most popular class in Heroes Ascend.

Ranger - Gaile Gray

Best All Around Player - Olias - he is so good he's playing almost in every team.

Most Sportsman like - unnamed heroway player who is still calling you noob in pm after you flawlessed his team in 2 minutes.

Best Guild - Souls of Glory - they are best at counting from 3 to one.

He's probably the best Channeling Ritualist in the game. He can also count from 3 to 1.

Assassin - X Naruto X (because he came before | Naruto | and Naruto | and...)
Warrior - Legendary Worrior (outworrying rather than outplaying is ftw)
Paragon - X Leonaidas (sp.!!!!) - admittedly he came too late but he SURPASSED ALL OTHERS WITH CAPS LOCK AND RANDOM unfitting "THIS IS SPARTA" SHOUTS

Mesmer - X Monk Killer X (this one is real) because he claimed he could kill a monk alone just with backfire (I TAed with him)

I am not funny, only HA is.
